RESUME, AVIS

PATRICIA LOWERY se présente à la police couverte de sang. Elle explique à l'inspecteur CARELLA qu'elle a été agressée sous un porche par un homme brun aux yeux bleus et que sa nièce était avec elle. La police retrouve en effet MURIEL STARK morte assassinée. PATRICIA se rétracte ensuite pour accuser son frère, ANDREW LOWERY, qui venait chercher sa cousine tous les soirs après le travail et était à la recherche des 2 filles le soir du meurtre.
